Perennials

Perennials are a group of plants that, generally speaking, emerge from the soil in the early to late spring. They flourish throughout the summer months adding a large assortment of color and styles to ones landscape or flower bed. Perennials usually die back in the late fall only to emerge again the following year to repeat the whole process. Perennials come in every shape, size, and color one could imagine. The blooming time of perennials is varied.

Popular perennials include Cranesbill; Day lily; Peony; Delphinium; Lupin; Geranium; Fuchsia; Penstemon; Marguerite; Verbena;

Bedding

Bedding plants are all plants that irrespective of their growing habits, are used to make a temporary show.  Their quick growth makes it possible for the homeowner to have color while waiting for permanent plantings to develop or add color to existing landscapes. They may be used in masses, along edges of beds, in groupings, or window boxes.

Popular bedding plants include Marigolds, Chrysanthemums; Alyssum, Begonias, Petunias, Tulips and Zinnia.
